Steps to reproduce:
1. Change the contrast.
2. Immediately copy the settings.
3. Paste them.
Actual result: New contrast value won't be copied.
Should be: The last edited value must be copied as well.

You should change focus from the edited value.

Better to say, that clicks that are required to copy the settings must change focus from the edited value applying the new value by this, so it would be copied (every other app in the world work like this with the focus). But clicks do nothing with the focus and the edited value is not applied before copying.

I investigated the issue better and I can tell that the focus is changed by the opened copy settings window - but not by the clicks. But it still copies the old value - not the changed one, even when this action is happening after applying the new value. So, it's a clear issue.

You going to have to give better instructions because I tried several different ways to copy/paste the settings using copy/paste buttons, menu copy/paste, right click context copy/paste and shortcut copy/paste and they ALL work correctly.

The instructions are correct. It's easy to reproduce - just don't make any additional actions. I'm using macOS, probably, there is no issue on Windows (I don't know).

I’m using Lr 8.2 macOS 10.14.4. Can’t reproduce.

You instructions are not detailed. You don’t even indicate the method to initiate the copy paste. I will wait for someone else to try.

Click on the thumbnail image to open a context menu and select Copy Settings.

Dmitry,

I did that and it worked here so I guess I am not going to be much help.  Maybe someone else can duplicate.  Have you restarted the computer and Lr?  Have you done a preference reset?

I can reproduce it in the following way: don’t use the slider, but type a new value in the Contrast field. Then do not hit Enter to apply that value, but use copy settings right away.

I would think that this is more or less expected behavior. The new value is not yet applied, so it is not copied. The only odd thing is that it looks like that other settings don’t show this, only Contrast does. I didn’t test them all however, because I don’t think this is a real problem. Just hit Enter after you type in a field...
