Copy grade settings to multiple images , and have grade applied at import

I cannot copy grade settings then apply this to multiple images , why not ? It’s a really common thing to do to a set of images .

I think problem lies with the lack of selection interface in Lightroom mobile and cc .
Everything seems back to front .
I believe we should be one / first touch selecting images from album view then use the drop down menu to do a command , eg paste settings Delete , move. Copy .
And double tap image to view full screen and edit . - not the first tap / touch.

Also it would be great to have the current setting s or copied setting applied to each image that is subsequently imported

Capture one has a setting that follows the grade settings from the last image , so when you import all new images have the same grade settings as the previous one before import .
So all images have that look grade you want automatically .

Having to copy setting and paste to each image is mental

Didn’t Lightroom used to have a sync button to copy and paste grade settings to ,all selected images?

I don't mean to sound like a broken record but Lightroom CC is not an upgrade of Lightroom Classic. It is a different product. If you like the features of Lightroom Classic better then just continue to use that.

Lightroom CC is in version 1.0.1. It is just getting started. If these are features you would like to see in future versions then post them as individual ideas so the rest of the community can vote on them too.

In fact, you can vote on the ability to copy settings across multiple images right here:

Thanks Rick,

Maybe the naming of the Product is Wrong then ?

When Photoshop moved to CC , it was the same pretty much, but nicer looking , better (some may disagree!!) , and new versions and features vbeing developed and refined to where we are now.
- but we didn’t have to re-ask for loads of expected missing features to be reinstated did we?

Imagine if Photoshop CC , didn’t have layers ! And we were told ignore the new product , just use photoshop 7 Classic ..

So Lightroom CC. - suggests the same ..
From that naming , we the users automatically understand and assume that it is a new version, it wont be cut down , it will be better , more modern , maybe more featured .

Using Lightroom’s legacy in its name , is maybe where all the requests and ‘problems’ s are steaming from .

Instead of giving it a new name, but saying it it cross compatible for Syncing with Lightroom 6 .

Now how do we ‘vote’ is it just in commenting or liking a suggestion ?
And how do we see the most ‘voted’ for feature requests?

Cheers!
Steve

Yeah, perhaps the name may be confusing but it will become more familiar with time.

You can vote by clicking the "Vote" box in the top right of an "Idea" post. On posts marked as Questions or Problems the box will be "Me Too". The number to the left of the box tells how many votes each post gets.

This is how we track and share issues at Adobe. It keeps us informed of customers needs and is the best way to maintain ongoing communication.

Thanks again for the great input!

Cheers!
