I had my photos on a PC. I then changed to a Mac. I downloaded my photos to my Mac. But when I look at them the have a symbol in the upper left corner that says the photos are offline. I have since deposed of my PC. I can not do anything with the photos on my Mac as they say they are offline. Is there anything I can do to be able to edit these photos?

What product/version do you own? I'm not seeing any registered products under the account using your email address you've used to post here.

Couple of things.

Transfer your catalog from Windows to Mac OS: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elem...

Reconnect missing files: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/333/333358.html

Neither of these will work as I don't have my old PC, so I don't have access to the files.

Your original statement said "I downloaded my photos to my Mac." If the files are on your system, you should be able to reconnect them. If you didn't copy over photos and erased the disk, I'm afraid they're gone forever.

I have the thumbnails loaded onto my Mac so I thought I had the pictures loaded so there is no way to make the thumbnails into real files is that what you are saying?

Correct. Those are just previews of the files that were referenced on disk.

Thank you. I may have them backed up on an external disk but I can't get my Mac to get them. I will take the backup to a tech to see if they can get to them.
