Photoshop: Contact sheet - remove file extension

Please please please can you a checkbox that will NOT add the file extension (.jpg etc) to the file name on the contact sheet. It has to be an easy fix on your end and it’s such a waste of time going through and removing it on every single layer for hundreds of layers.

Contact Sheet is a script. I suspect there's a way to modify the script to not include the extension. ps-scripts.com might have a workaround.

You are correct! Just need to change "self.noExtensions" to 'true' and you're good to go.

That works great, thanks.   Search for the file "ContactSheetII.jsx" in the PhotoShop folder.  It's in the Scripts sub folder.  You will need a html editor to change the setting.
