Constrain Crop check box in Transform tab of CC 2015.6 not operational

In the new "Transform" tab introduced in LR CC2015.6, the Constrain crop button does not seem to work in many cases.  Examples:

1)  Take un-cropped image, un-check the Constrain Crop box in the Transform panel,  Click Auto (or Vertical or Full).  At this point you see the white space left when the image was skewed.  Now check the constrain button and it crops it as expected.  Now un-check the constrain box - NOTHING HAPPENS. It just stays Constrained

2) No matter what state the Constrain Crop check box is in, when using the "auto" or "Level" buttons it always shows you the constrained view.  You cannot see what was chopped off

Are you using Lightroom 2015.6 or the 2015.6.1 update that went out yesterday? What OS/version are you running on?

if you go to the crop dialog, you should be able to see the whole image and select again what you want.

Windows/10.  Cc 2016.6.1

Yes, If I bounce up to the crop tool itself checking/unchecking the constrain crop works as is it should so at this point that is a work around.  However, in the Transform panel it is not behaving as I think it was intended to behave.

I would like to confirm this bug. Turning off (uncheck) the Constrain Crop in the Transform panel does not switch off the cropped state. I think it did in previous releases, so it could be a regressive bug. Observed in Lightroom CC 206.6.1 using Windows 7.

Sorry, I mistyped the LR version - should be CC 2015.6.1
