This is just a random idea, but I hope it is possible to connect one photoshop to another, like what can be done through google. So that I can work together with my friend, different laptops, different photoshop, but doing one project. It would be really helpful to have this feature.

I'm not familiar with what service Google provides for collaboration, and I don't know if this suits you, but you might take a look here:

http://www.adobe.com/products/adobeconnect/meetings.html

Scroll down and you'll see that you can meet up with another 2 people for free. I have been in many Connect sessions, but I've never hosted one so don't know what the procedure is or what you might have to do to qualify for using the service. I'm sure the Learn & Support section on this page can help you figure out if this is for you.

Photoshop itself doesn't have any screen sharing features, but so long as you're a member of the Creative Cloud, you can share files with others, even others who don't have a membership. Again, you're host. If you both have the Creative Cloud, you can share libraries.

With all the ways Adobe does provide collaboration, I doubt very much if Photoshop is going to add a screen sharing function any time soon within Photoshop itself. However, one of these methods might do the trick for you.
