This problem started with version 20.  Instead of going to the prior or next brush in the list, using comma and period sends the brush off somewhere else in the brushes showing.  Downloaded the latest update  and it worked correctly for one day.  The next start up the problem was back.

Howdy Joseph,

What OS are you running on?  Which language version of the OS?  Of Photoshop?  Are what language is your keyboard set to?  What kind of keyboard are you using?

Thanks,
David

I am using Windows 10 Home, Version 1803 OS Build 17134.765

Adobe Photoshop Version: 20.0.4 20190227.r.76 2019/02/27: 1205725  x64

American Keyboard, Fellowes Microban

I have a large brush set so I did some additional tests.  There are areas in the set that the functions work properly but in other areas they skip around randomly.  During the random selections, it often skips to other brushes of the same diameter, sometimes of the same shape, other times of different shapes but of the same size.

Just loaded the latest PSCC update and the comma and period still do not move the brush selection as advertised.  They just bounce around randomly from brush to brush, not to the prior or next brush.  My workflow has always depended on arranging a series of brushes in a group from which I can select my next brush by using the comma or period.  Now I have to search the entire display to find what I want.  How hard can this be to fix?  I have used it for years in prior versions of PS.
