it would be cool if the color sampler tool automatically generated a pallet entry every time the tool was clicked

So you want more than 4 color samplers.
And you want a way to create color swatches from the color samplers.

Is that correct?

I can see much more additions in here. Not be able to add color swatches.

For example, I can read color sample x,y positions by scripts to get automatically croped my image.

In a workflow, every single avoided click is a big importance.
It is my case.

If the created color sample points on AdobeCameraRaw plugin could be passed automatically to photoshop it would be 'heaven' for a workflow.

I never understood why they have allowed the 'color sample point creation on CameraRaw but neither they can be stored on XMP sidecar file, and worst: they can't be passed to the image when opened on photoshop.

So huge potential, so lack of vision.
Adobe need some more intuition and sense on this.

it would be nice if when the user clicked the sampler that the program automatically started generating a swatch library.

yes you are correct in your response.
