I have purchased both Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3. Both of them are current with all updates. When I open Bridge to setup Color Managment (Edit->Creative Suite Color Settings), it comes back with the message 'Suite Color Management is not enabled. Suite Color Management requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature." What the heck? Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS5 don't qualify? What is going on?

Photoshop and Lightroom are not part of the Suite the color management refers to.

Go to Bridge Help and type in Suite Color Management. Lots of stuff to read.

Suite Color management feature is only enabled when you purchased a Suite, like Design Premium, or Design Standard...

I figured it out. I was exporting pictures from the Sony Vegas video editor and bringing them into Photoshop. The images did not look anywhere close to correct. The problem was fixed by applying the correct color profile to the images.

I still have to wonder: If Suite Color Management only works when you have purchased the Suite, why bundle it with a stand-alone product? Whatever.
