Color Grading as adjustment layer. It would be nice to have an adjustment layer that makes it able to color grade the image like a movie. Color balance is not the best way. in Adobe Camera Raw, there is the possibility to tone the lights and darks, if there would be an additional midtone toning function, it would be perfect!

I think, this would be perfect: http://i.imgur.com/N9Y5d.jpg

Nothing against your request, but in the meanwhile, curves can do it.

Actual color grading involves a lot more controls and adjustments. (including selective color adjustments, hue/saturation, etc.)

But do you realize that those controls actually replicate the functionality of Levels? And yes, you can do that same thing in Curves as well.

Would be great to have a 3 Way Color adjustment layer in PS to better match up with Premiere and AE.  Even better if it could be saved out as an adjustment layer preset (saved in project folder) that can be shared between PS, Premiere, and AE.
