LIGHTROOM 4.4: Printer color profile not available for selection

I have Lightroom 4.4.1 running on Windows 7 Enterprise, SP1.
I have previously used an HP plotter, calibrated with Colormunki, and i could choose the created profile in Print > Color Management > Managed by Printer.
Now we have another plotter (HP DesignJet T1500 PS PS3) for which I have created a .icm profile with Colormunki. It is shown in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color folder, but does not appear when I click Managed by Printer > Other... - the pop-up is without any files, except if I tick the "Include Display Profiles" box.
Why are the printer profiles not shown?

Presumably you've rebooted since making the new plotter profile. I am not sure if this is necessary, but have you done a right-click in Explorer, then selected Install on your new profile?

One reason many of the profiles in the color folder aren't shown is that LR only uses RGB printer profiles, not CMYK or other color representation systems.

My profile list only shows SaalDigital_FileArt_Pearl.icc, a profile I specifically downloaded and installed for testing LR's softproofing with, unless I include display profiles.

What are the properties listed of the new plotter profile if you look at it in Control Panel / Color Management / All Profiles (or maybe Control Panel / Display / Resolution / Advanced / Color Management / All Profiles)?

Here is what mine shows for the one paper profile mentioned above, and the one below it with swop in its name would not show up in LR anywhere because it is likely CMYK or perhaps Lab, not RGB:

Dear Steve

thanks so much!
The problem is that the profile for some reason was made with color space CMYK.
I will contact Colormunki and ask how I change to RGB.

Did you figure out how to get ColorMunki to print the color targets in RGB mode so you can make RGB profiles or does this plotter not allow RGB printing--Can Lightroom print to it without a custom color profile?

Is there a CMYK vs RGB mode in the printer driver.

The only info I can find on the HP site is a two-page PDF that doesn't mention things in this level of detail.
