Lightroom Classic: Collection's link Thumbnail in WhatsApp for a published collection

Hi all,

if you copy and paste the link of a published collection of LR Classic CC in whatsapp, then you wait for a while, a window will be displayed containing the cover's thumbnail together with the collection name. The problem is that such thumbnail is not displayed for every collection I publish - though the cover has been formerly set from LR's interface - and it's not very professional to send a link without "personality" to my clients.

I can't realize this random behaviour.. has it sense a mechanism like "Facebook debugger" that fixes this thumbnail absence?

Has the collection been published to LR CC or some other publishing service (e.g. Flickr)?

Does it happen if you paste the link to apps such as the Messages app on iOS? If not, this is likely an issue with the WhatsApp.

Hi Simon, I don't know if it happens from Messages but this is a random and not systematic behavior thus I wonder it's due to LR and not Whatsapp Web.. Does this work for you? (if you try to copy and paste a link..)

I am not using the WhatsApp. But the Messages app seems always work for me. So I think it is most likely a WhatsApp issue. In some other app that does not automatically pulling the preview after posting the url. I would post the url to my self privately and then click on the url in that app, and then share from there to the real intended audience.
