If in my catalogue I say  "show all" and select a  (now specific) photo, right-click and select in the contextual menu "show in collection"  this in this my case shows it is in two collections.

I then click on the first one listed and that photo then appears amongst other photos in a collection, Collection then highlighted in the left column of listed unfiltered collection.
And, above the bottom navigation pic-stripe it states that it is among 527 photos, etc. : All All right.

Now I whant to see it among wich other photos it is in an that other collection so I choose that second one in the contextual menu and it jumps up as expected among the other photos in the that second collection, showing that collection conteins 147 photos (on the line next to the collection's name.. ) ..except that collection's name does not show listed (so it is not highlighted of cours) at left.

No filters are activated (nor to pics nor to collections)
I can search among the collections in the left collumn, but to no avail.
(color labeling collection is not sollicitated eighter)

What have I forgoten ????
If I want to share that collection for instance... I do need to see it listed on the left.

Of course I could probabli select all and simply moove all these into a new collection (with same or similar name .
BUT : I suspect I might have other collections but that I ignore to have missing !

Sometimes it is enough to close LR Classic by accepting all the options offered by the LR Classic closing box, including saving the catalog.
Then re-open LR Classic...

It is sometimes the indexes that find it difficult to update this, especially if they are dynamic collections, the fact of creating collections of collections facilitates the continuous updating of the indexes.

A screenshot of the Right-Click on the Collection Badge on the Photo might give us some insight.
