Hello I have a photoshop preferences file that had a problem. For some reason I could not use the clone tool. All my settings were fine, but the tool would not work properly. When searched for tool reset, and moved the prefs file to my desktop to reset the settings it worked properly again but it was very inconvenient because i was in the middle of working on editing a image that was selected. I had to quit photoshop and start over... In the Jeff Tranberry's Digital Imaging Crawlspace, the lady on the tutorial told me to zip the desktop prefs file and send it to this site but i am not sure how to do that and attach it to this topic but did want to report the problem... I do have a question. I have the preferences file saved to my desktop now. Can I delete it? Will that effect the program? I dont want that setting anymore if the tool wont work properly. Thanks for your help.
