Clicking expand group bar can cause LightRoom CC to jump back to selected image/group.

When in library view clicking on the expand group bar will jump to the selected image. This is a problem if the image you have selected is not in the group you are expanding. It jumps and then you have to go find the group you were trying to look at in the first place. Not really an issue if you are looking at a small folder or collection but if you have 10k photos and you are looking at all photographs its pretty annoying.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "expand group bar" -- that's not standard LR terminology. Are you referring to expanding a stack by clicking on the stack badge in the upper-left corner of the thumbnail?

Or to something else?

Your video makes clear what's going on. The issue also happens in my LR CC 2015.1.1, on both Mac and Windows. I never noticed that before, though I can see how it could be very annoying. Interestingly, it doesn't happen to me when the selected photo is above the stack being expanded, only when it is below.

(By the way, the Lightroom name for what you call a group is "stack".)

Yeah, Ive always referred to it as a group because the keyboard shortcut is CMD+g, but it is technically a stack.
