Photoshop: Why are text previews for some fonts in chinese?

in photoshop cs5.5 ver 12.1 X64 when I need see text preview many fonts are in chinese!
My installation language is italian. Any ideas to resolve this? Thanks

Those fonts have their script code set to Chinese.
Fonts are grouped in the menu by their script. (and Arial Unicode != Arial)

That's not a bug, you've just scrolled to the section of Chinese fonts.

Actually, Kyoko said that's Korean, not Chinese. :) But the same answer applies.

Ok, ok, my Chinese and Korean reading skills aren't up to snuff, I admit it.

Batang/BatangChe/Dotum/Adobe Gothic Std are Korean font so this is expected.

Arial Unicode MS, I am not sure.. If you think this this not Korean font, please contact me itoda@adobe.com

No, there is no way to force fonts that use a different script to preview in a script they barely support.
