Changing image size crashes Photoshop CC 2015 on some Nvidia GPUs on MacOS

  3. Change dimensions
  4. CRASH!

I found the culprit... I had to disable OpenCL in the preferences (Performance > Graphics Processor Settings > Advanced)

These new GPU features from Adobe are NOT going so well. Lightroom GPU features cause crashes and slowdowns too.

Let me guess: Nvidia GPU, and the crash report says the NV driver called abort()?
Yeah, we're working with Nvidia to figure out what is going wrong in their driver code.

It is an nvidia 980ti but I haven't dug through the error log

Since that isn't a standard Macintosh card, that must mean you are using the NV web drivers - so it's probably the same driver bug that we've been chasing.
