Elements: Changed Computers, can't load Elements 14 from on line. Any way to save my albums if I just go to Elements 15?

I had 50 or 60 albums in  Photoshop Elements (and Premiere Elements) 14 when my seven year old computer finally gave out.  I still have all of the photographs in various folders on my hard drive, but I was unable to download 14 to my new computer even though I had all the key codes, etc.  I assume it is because 15 is already out.  So, my question is:  if I buy 15 is there some way I can recover all the albums I had in my catalog in Photoshop 14?

Elements 15 should update your catalogs/albums. Why aren't you able to install Elements 14? Do you get a specific error?

Maybe I just don't know how to do it.  I went on line and was able to run the download program for both Elements and Premiere Elements.  However, when I click on the desktop icon, I get a series of folders.  I have opened and tried to run each one but can't seem to get anywhere.

What OS are you on? Sounds like you may have download the installer for the wrong OS.

Do you have a screenshot of the contents of the folder you see?
