Using Lightroom Classic CC 7.1, working with keywords- justdiscovered I can add a keyword from a set by holding Option (on a Mac) andtyping in the corresponding number that appears next to the keyword. This is a time saver, but...while the keywords show up in the order I have added them to theset, usually alphabetically, the numbers themselves are in a strange order-left to right, bottom to top row (like the numbers on the numerical keyboard),which is not really useful. To me, having them appear in order- left to right, top to bottom, 1-9 would make logical sense, as that is how my mind works, not 7,8, 9, 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3. And while we’re at it, it would be great of there was a wayto create a new, empty keyword set, instead of having to duplicate an old one, then delete the 9 items. Or, a way to highlight an added keyword, and clicksomewhere to create a new keyword set using that term. If this functionalitycurrently exists, it is sure hard to find.

Keyword Sets are a series of ASCII text files located in the Keyword Sets folder with your other Lightroom Settings and presets.   You can copy one that you have already creates and edit it with any Text Editor

Good to know, but it's still more work than it should be, duplicating, opening, editing- would be like having to open an older Word doc & deleting the contents instead of just opening a new, empty doc...
