In Lightroom CC I can not change the file name. After export I have files with name "DSC...jpg". For me Lightroom CC is not usable with this problem, because I can not give files with this random file name to my clients.

I completely agree - this is daft. Surely it would be as easy as pie to ad an option to give the file a name when it is exported/saved?

Another great idea that would be very beneficial.  To change the file name after importing into Lightroom CC.  Both individual and in bulk.

Since I important from different sources e.g. iPhone, DSLR... I need to rename file in batches according to capture time. This was easy in LR6 and would be great to have in LR CC.

The ability to (bulk) edit filenames while exporting photos is a blatantly missing feature in Lightroom CC.

I need to edit filenames, i.e. bulk edit by giving filenames of the following format: [Date - time - <Place or name or whatever>.JPG], With the current shortcomings of LrCC, I would need to export to my local disk, and then use Lightroom Classic (!), or Bridge to do the bulk renaming using the exif-data included in the files. Strange that LrCC can not take care of this at once.

BTW: as I have read that some commentators find file names are not useful anymore as everything is in the cloud (etc): I am not interested in leaving all my pictures in the cloud. Putting them in the cloud if perhaps fine for editing, especially photos shot from my phone, but when ready, they should all get out Adobe's cloud and into my own computer and cloud backup.

I concur with the comments above. I need to be able to rename files AFTER they are edited, and as I am exporting them. File names like DSC4436-2.jpeg mean squat to either me or the client. I need to be able to find photos based on a naming system that makes sense. This is crap! I know which program I WON'T be using.

Exactly.  This is beyond irritating.
