How do I change the current default 2018 version to 20.0.4? I updated to 20.0.4 however when I open an image from Bridge it does not open in the latest version. When I right click the image it only displays the older version and doesn't offer the option of opening in 20.0.4 An image will display in version 20.0.4 if it is already open.

Thank you

You should be able to change it to the new version in Preferences \File Type Associations

You may have to navigate through File Type Associations Browse. . .  to the version of PS you want and then click on the app/exe icon itself to make it take.

You also can often choose Finder Settings/Explorer Settings (I don't have Windows, so assuming it's the same) to set it so you won't have to do this over and over, but at least on the Mac, Finder settings is the last it thinks you installed, not always reliable as what it takes as "latest" seems to be up for grabs sometimes, and any specific choice  in Preferences overrides the Finder until you  Reset to Defaults  (or select Finder Settings if you can).

Yes, it's kind of a mess and very confusing. And it has to be done on an app by app basis, which is a nuisance.  I've taken to simply clicking Reset to Defaults and then making individual exceptions as easier than trying to make exceptions to the exceptions, if you follow me. If the Finder/Explorer has the wrong default, it can get really tedious to try to fix it, but you generally have to start by trying through their Info/Properties dialogs, I've found. Then try to Reset to Defaults to see if Bridge picks that up properly.
