Center objects in indexed mode dont work all the time, already reported it for CS4, the bug is still available in CS5. Since i need this function every day its a bit frustrating when its not working perfectly.

What are you talking about exactly?
The only functions regarding »Center ...« that come to my mind refer to Layers and Layers are restricted in Indexed Color Mode.

If you copy and paste or cut and paste something in a ps-document, than the objects are always in the center of your doc.
You dont need layers to paste objects on an indexed layer.
I am not able to reproduce it all the time, but it happens in nearly every 3rd or 4th design, than i have to place a reference line or i restart photoshop.

I had already a "long" discussion with an Adobe programmer about this, very sadly that i dont have the video i made, or the mails :/
It was an asian programmer and he told me that he found the bug and a patch will come soon - that was in CS4 times, a patch was never released and i have the same prob in CS5.

Specially when i have very complex designs and have to center a lot of single elements its frustating to have an interuption in your designprocess and restart all the time ps (reference lines are not the best solution for my workflow, copy paste is much faster than waiting for the magentic center point)

i made a small video which demonstrates the bug (its also reproducable in rgb mode no index mode needed)

Normally when you paste something, it should be centered in the middle of your doc in my vid you can see the bug very well, also the object was not placed always on the same position, sometimes you are a bit too high, sometimes a bit too low etc.

Its definitly not a specific problem, i have 3 differnt systems (1x Desktop WinXP, 1x Thinkpad XP (Video), 1x Desktop Win7 x64) the problem was @ CS4 and also in CS5 i dont have CS6 but i guess the problem is also in CS6
