My Photoshop cc crashes about 6x a day, sometimes when i run an action but generally when I uses the eyedropper tool. It crashes then deletes all of my actions. This is a serious problem

Hi Nicole, Please make sure you submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: http://adobe.ly/gNJWVY

Are you cropping images during the course of your work?

Nicole: Yes, please submit your crash reports as Jeff detailed above as that can aid us in understanding more. Do you have a good idea of the steps you are doing prior to the crash? You also mentioned actions, what are you doing with actions? Any feedback you can provide would be helpful. Thanks!

This happens to me all the time, and Adobe doesn't have a workaround - yes quite frustrating. I simply try to select a color with the eyedropper tool and it's bye bye PS. This happens only with PS-CC, on a Macbook Pro using OS 10.9.2.

I reported this problem a few months ago and have continued to have problems with crashing when using eye-dropper but i think one of the problems is to do with speed. If i hold back a few seconds just before i use eyedropper, i don't seem to get these eye-dropper crashes. Try it!

Which version of Photoshop are you using?
This was fixed in Photoshop CC 2014.

So there is a very odd issue with the crop tool that will later cause the eyedropper (or any color change) to crash. Fixed in CC 2014.

I'll have to see if there is any connection between crop tool use and eyedropper use. My 'slow-down' theory seems to be working fine. No crashes!
