CC2014 Pattern Selection UI corrupted?

I have Photoshop CS6 Extended, CC, and CC2014 installed on this machine...they are all on the cloud and updated from there...the UI for selecting loaded and saved patterns in CC2014 must be corrupted because it has slowly reduced to not showing any thumbnails or lists, only the top of the preferences "wheel" is visible in a grey box...maybe a slit where the thumbs/lists should show when the current pattern thumb is clicked upon...this all works just fine in CC and CS6 Extended - my Qs are - could these be causing interference? I read that plugins can cause it so I tried to uninstall all plugins from MediaChance or OnOne(Mask Pro 4) but I just noticed there are some files left from Mask Pro in the CC X86 folder...why is there no CC2014 in X86 Programs but CC and CS6 are? I understand this is a 64 bit machine and Win 7 Home Premium, but that seemed odd to me...Can/should I uninstall CC2014 and reinstall it? Don't ask why I kept the older versions installed, I don't know, but maybe so if something went wrong??

Uninstalling and resintalling won't do much.
But resetting the preferences should help.

It looks like something has corrupted the preference that remembers the last size used for that flyout, and the logic that should enforce a minimum size on the flyout is malfunctioning for some reason.
