Photoshop CC 2018: "Export As..." inferior to SFW in nearly every way (feedback)

I am writing this with the assumption that Export As... is intended to eventually replace SFW. These are things I have noticed since the feature has been introduced. I am on the latest PS CC release and they are still happening. So if Adobe is reading this, some feedback:

1. Exporting multiple sizes seems to be hit-or-miss. Sometimes it only exports the original (native) image size and I have to delete and re-add the other scale factors to get it to work again.

2. Even when I choose to export assets somewhere other than the default folder in the same folder as the PSD, it generates a [document name]-assets folder with a [document name].png. Every single time.

3. No way to turn off error log TXT files as far as I can see.

4. Save for Web (legacy) and Export As... seem to use different algorithms (or whatever) to generate scaled down assets, even with the same settings (e.g. Bilinear Sharper, Nearest Neighbor, etc.). In most cases, SFW gives superior results - Export As... seems to add black rows of pixels, introduce unneeded sharpening around edges, or just product inferior results.

5. No way to change the asset names - you are stuck with the PSD or layer name. A real PITA if you are turning on and off multiple layers to generate assets.

Adobe, if you plan on replacing SFW with this, PLEASE fix it and make it more useful. As it is I spend more time fighting with the new Export tool than if I were to manually generate all of the @2x, 3x, and 4x assets manually, one by one.

And let's not forget that there is no way to save Export As to an action or to call it from scripts!

as far as we can tell, Export As and SFW have been abandoned. No idea what their plans are for either, but Export As has so many bugs and is very feature incomplete, yet no significant updates have been made in a long time.

Which I've taken as good news so far for SFW. <BG> I'm operating on the theory, possibly flawed, that they won't remove SFW until/unless they make Export As cover all the bases and do it without being so very fragile it keeps breaking.
