cc 2017 is performing faster than CC 2018 or CC 2019

I have made a test where I wrote a script to open 25 images on a routine, do some analysis on some layers, resampling the size of image and save a tif copy and a jpeg copy before closing each photo.

With both Photoshop CC 2017 and CC 2019 having openGL on, on the same Mac computer, with no cache from past editions and same preferences on performance settings, I had this results:

On the same McBook Air computer | 1,3 GHz Intel Core i5 | macOS High Sierra | Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB

CC 2017
181 seconds

CC 2019
341 seconds

Almost double?
On a industry scale post-processing performance this is definitively compromising the productivity when considering updating to CC 2019.

And to add even more restrains, in the beginning of 2019, Adobe had legal issues and forced all CC subscriber not having access to CC 2017.

This is not acceptable.

I have updated the recent versions and did again the speed tests.
Some good news.
The results are not showing up the lags and delays anymore.

CC2017 (18.1.6 version used)

CC2018 (19.1.9 version) speed improved 8.8% compared with CC2017
CC2019 (20.0.6 version) speed improved 10.5% compared with CC2017

Let's keep it!
