Photoshop CC 2015: Loses mouse functions with Wacom Pen & Touch

Intuos Pen & Touch Small, latest driver installed, Mac OSX El Capitan:

Pen button mapped to PS opt+ctrl+r.mouse to adjust brush size and hardness.  This function works fine for a time then the brush seems to hang I lose mouse left click altogether.  Only way back from this is force quit PS and reboot.  I can finish editing with mouse only but with tablet I cannot.  Same issue with PS CS5.

Does anyone else experience this same issue?

Do you mean rebooting the system?
What you are describing sounds like it has to be an issue with the tablet driver (because the mouse continues to work).

Hi Chris, thanks for responding.  Yes, rebooting the computer.  If I edit with mouse only I can finish the editing session but with pen, mostly I cannot finish.

The mouse functions are also affected: the mouse cursor will move around but no left mouse click and the right mouse click acts as the left mouse button.  Trying combinations of the one remaining button function and key strokes only get me to the point of system reboot.

Yeah, if you have to reboot the computer to fix the behavior: then the problem is in the OS or a driver.  It almost sounds like something has changed the OS mouse preferences somehow - but I'm not sure how that would be cured by a reboot.
Sounds like you need to talk to Wacom and see what they know about this issue.

Thanks, I contacted Wacom a couple of days ago so still awaiting response.  I thought to ask if anyone else was having this issue which is often the case - ha except for this one it seems :)
