CC 2015 Bug: Automatic "Select all" and "Deselect" everytime a document is shown

Since I upgraded to CC2015 this is what happens:

– On opening a PSD, the first thing Photoshop automatically does is to select all and to deselect right after that
– When I open a smart object out of that PSD it does the same there
– When I switch between the PSD and the smart object or any another document (Ctrl-Tab) it does the same
– The result is a slight delay on switching between documents and a history fully loaded with useless actions

Have a look at the screenshot ("Protokoll" is German for "History", "Arbeitsfläche wählen" means "Select all", "Auswahl aufheben" means "Deselect").

This is really driving me nuts. Any idea how to fix that? Thanks a lot!

You have an automation plugin, extension panel, or event script doing that.
Try disabling your third party plugins and extension panels.
And check the event scripts to make sure something hasn't been added without your knowledge.

Yes! I checked them all, and it was the GuideGuide extension (http://guideguide.me/), that caused the trouble. I'll contact the developer for further support.

Thanks a lot, Chris!

The developer found what caused the trouble, and he's on it. :)

Here's the thread on GuideGuide's support page:
