Hi, I had a storage/disk crash, could restore some photos, but the catalogue is corrupted, so it says! I had all photos on a second disk but not the catalogue. I lost all my development-settings and the tags and all my description of 31.000 pictures!!! Do You have an idea how to restore the corrupted catalogue or to import all settings etc. from the corrupted catalogue to a new one? I tried syncing but that doesn ́t help.
Thanks for helping!

Are any of the backups Lightroom makes of the catalogue in good condition? Then you only lose the changes since that last backup (including any images you added since.)

And this is place to remind people to BACK UP YOUR DATA. In more than one place if possible. Both Microsoft and Apple make this very easy.

One of the old catalogues has all data but only a few pictures inside. I tried to sync the old catalogue with the new, where now the pictures are, but it failed. A method to get the "old" data to the new catalogue will be very helpful!!!

Hi Roland- I replied to you via email. Hopefully I can take a look and see if there is anything we can do to help you recover your data.
