Catalogue Access Problem in Elements 15 Organizer -- Programming Error Message

I have a problem accessing one of my catalogues in Elements 15 Organizer. I receive the following error message when attempting to access the catalogue: "The catalogue could not be opened. An internal programming error occurred." What can I do to correct this problem? FYI, I am using a Mac, with MacOS Sierra Ver. 10.12.1.  Many thanks to anyone who can assist!

Hi,

Sorry for the trouble here.
Could you please try to create a new catalog by using following steps:

- launch Elements organizer 15
- Hold the Shift Key on key board
- Catalog Manager Window will pop up 
- Create a new catalog
- Try to open it

Thanks for getting back to me, but that doesn't exactly address my problem.  I can create and open new new catalogues and I can access some of my existing catalogues.  My problem is that I cannot access one of my catalogues, and get the "internal program error" when I attempt to do so.  This is a problem that only affects that one specific catalogue.  Do you know how I might be able to access that catalogue?
