Lightroom: Catalog restore to new location still points to files in old location

I had my catalog and photos on an external hard drive that began to fail. I got a new external drive, backed up the catalog to discs, restored to a new location on the new drive. I can see all of the files, catalog and photos on the new drive. However when I open the catalog on the new drive the file properties all indicate that the photos are still stored on the older drive. If I do not connect the older drive and open the catalog then it indicates that all of the photos are missing/disconnected. Not sure what I am doing wrong but the sheer number of photos makes re-connecting them manually not a good solution. Any idea what I may have done wrong?

You should be able to select the folder at the top level and and select "Find Nearby Missing Photos"
