Canvas goes black in Yosemite (MacOS 10.10 beta 5)

Before I get the generic "Yosemite is in beta and not officially supported yet" response... I know.

Now on to the problem, which I'm hoping there's a workaround for that doesn't just involve waiting until Yosemite is officially launched.

Basically, my canvas just turns black sometimes when I go from window to window. For example, I'll have a PS (Creative Cloud, up to date) document open and then go over to Chrome for a while. When I come back to PS, my canvas will be black. It'll have a scroll bar, etc, but will be black. This is non-recoverable, and I have to quit the document. Saving doesn't work during this "black" state - If I save it destroys the file.

Is this isolated to Yosemite, or is this some other odd problem that there's a fix for?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, you are describing a video card driver bug. Please let Apple know about the problem (they'll need to know exactly what hardware you are using to isolate the bug) so they can get it fixed before MacOS 10.10 ships.

Hey any update on this, because I've been seeing it happen on the last two versions of Photoshop, and I'm on Yosemite 10.10.4 on a 2-year-old MacBook Air?
Thanks

Apple says they are still working to solve the many video driver problems in MacOS 10.10.
