Can't use Bridge CC

Recently purchased membership in CC for the Photography package. Bridge installed from CC, and the desktop showed two updates over the next few days, both of which appear to have installed OK. First time I tried to use Bridge, no response using the Icons on my desktop, and system tray. Using Windows 7, so tried to launch from Programs ->Adobe Bridge CC 64 bit. Again, no response. In Task Manager, no program showing named Bridge. Checking under Processes, there is an active process named Adobe Bridge CC.exe 64 bit. Still get no response to clicking either Icon, or trying to launch from Programs->Adobe Bridge CC 64 bit. Please help!!!!!
