Can't update Photoshop CS6 | Photoshop Family Customer Community

I cannot get my photoshop program to update. It looks like it downloads it alright then it will say "Update Failed" this has become a problem since the implementation of CC. Do I have to upgrade to this to keep my version of CS6 updated??

Does the updater give a message about how/why it failed?

The update server is not responding. the server might be offline temporarily, or the internet or firewall setting may be incorrect
