Photoshop.com: Can't change Adobe ID email address

I'm trying to change the email address on my photoshop.com account. I was able to log into the account using my AdobeID and password, but when I change the email address and click Save, I'm asked for my password. I provide exactly the same password that I used to log into the site, and an error message tells me that they were unable to save my changes, and that I should enter my password again. And then a "Saving Changes" dialog appears but never goes away.

But I'm entering the same password I used when I logged in!

I'm able to make other changes to my account info, but I can't change my email address. This is a problem, as I'm changing ISPs and soon the old email address will no longer be available to me.

Please help!

Do you possibly had another account with the new email address that you are using? I think that would cause this problem.

I will message you via email on this.

Hi Peter,

I think you may be right. I tried changing my address to a brand new address that I'm sure I've never used for an Adobe account, and that worked fine.

Can't change my Adobe ID.


When I try to change my Adobe ID from my company's email address to my personal email address, I click on the option to verify my email address, I get the notice that a message was sent to me at the new address, but I never get it.

I get other messages at both email addresses, and I get Adobe's messages at my company's address, so I know it's not me.

The confirmation email may be filtered by your email provider as spam. Please check your spam folder for the expected email. If you are using a desktop email client (such as Outlook), double-check your online account which may pre-filter spam before it is downloaded to your client.
