Can't change Adobe ID email address

I'm trying to change the email address on my account. I was able to log into the account using my AdobeID and password, but when I change the email address and click Save, I'm asked for my password. I provide exactly the same password that I used to log into the site, and an error message tells me that they were unable to save my changes, and that I should enter my password again. And then a "Saving Changes" dialog appears but never goes away.

But I'm entering the same password I used when I logged in!

I'm able to make other changes to my account info, but I can't change my email address. This is a problem, as I'm changing ISPs and soon the old email address will no longer be available to me.

Please help!
