well after ive noticed that one of my cpu threads was locked to 100% after opening a simple picture to edit and using the slide animation abit , i selected the picture with my mouses left click button and dragged it around and let it go a couple times to test how the slide animation performs in the resource department , doing this a couple times and what do i get a locked 100% cpu thread , wtf

now if i set gpu acceleration back to basic , this doesnt happen , but set it to normal or advanced and yeah you get the forementioned problem , this SHOULD NOT happen , please fix this

btw im running an 580gtx with latest fresh install 310.70 drivers on a fresh install w7 64x sp1 ultimate

Yes, it should not happen.

Setting the GPU mode to basic means that Photoshop isn't using shaders, so the problem is most likely in the NVidia shader compiler or execution code.

Please let NVidia know that you are having trouble with their latest drivers, and we will also try to follow up with NVidia about this issue.
