When I try to sign in to Adobe Revel Downloader, I get an endless timer as if it is trying to log me in, but not working. If I use the wrong Adobe ID and/or password combination, then it tells me that I did. However, if I use the correct one, then it just hangs endlessly. I just downloaded the program today.

Are you able to log into the Revel app or Revel web site?

Yes. I can log into the Revel website fine and see all my photos there. I just want to download them all before Revel goes away, but I can't seem to use the Downloader app. Not sure what to do to get it to stop hanging after attempting to log in with the correct credentials.

That's odd. The web site and the downloader use the same mechanism to sign in.
How many photos do you have on the server? Approximately?

I can no longer stand businesses that make everything difficult. If you can send me the email to download my photos from Rebel, but the downloader app prevents me from logging into the site, I cannot download. Why must it be so difficult???

Laura.
I understand your frustration and I apologize.

The Adobe Downloader was released before the Adobe Login team threw in the additional layer of asking about the "would you like to add your cell phone for password recovery"  Regretfully,  because the Adobe Revel Downloader was built before that prompt the downloader has problems dealing with it.

There is a workaround, but it does give you a few more hoops to jump through.

If you close the Adobe Revel downloader and  go to  www.adobe.com and log in and get through all the log in prompts (you can skip the recovery step) you should be able to then re-launch the Adobe Revel downloader and get to the point where you can select your libraries.

We've extended the deadline twice for folks to download their assets. Please let me know if you encounter any problems after taking the steps above.

Thank you for your prompt answer, Jason. I do not envy you your job.
I have done as you said and succeeded in downloading my Revel Library photos. I will now sign out and gladly conclude my business with Adobe once and for all. I don’t need the grief, nor do I approve of your needing my birthday as identifying information, which jeopardizes my own security and is not advisable simply for doing business with a company that could care less.
I think there should be a law against peripheral internet companies requiring your critical identifying information. Tell that to Adobe for me. I will not do business with them again. I absolutely hate being jerked around. Bye!

Information tidbit for you. We ask customers for birth date because legally we cannot engage minors below a specific age with the service and need to have the birth date on file.

Please visit this forum for information on deleting your Adobe ID account (sounds like that's what you desire and I cannot delete accounts).
