I have saved plenty of gifs before and now I can't save. After clicking save i get the option to save images only or HTML and images but no GIF. It's tearing my hair out!!!!

A GIF is an image, so choose Images Only and continue.

Tried that. The separate images were saved and not the GIF.

Howdy Graham,

Can you share more details?  How are you trying to save?  Save As?  Export > Save for Web?  Export > Export As?  I'd like to narrow things down a little.

Thanks,
David

It sounds like you have a document open with slices. Open a file that is just the image that is to be the GIF and then try file > Export > Save for Web.

Alternatively, change the Color Mode to Index Color (this should be a duplicate file, not the original) and then you can save as CompuServe GIF via the regular save dialog box.
