All of a sudden, both lightroom and photoshop will not save any of my edits. I've tried with both RAW files and jpegs, I've been exporting them corrected for ages, now it will only export the original file without changes. I have tried opening it in photoshop to actually SAVE the file, but even then, it doesn't work. And no, I'm not saving as "original" I've never done that and never will. I WANTED to export it as a .tif file to save as much data as possible but it doesn't save changes in any format. Both programs are basically unusable at this point.

So when it opens in Photoshop, do your edits show up there? What if you do something really obvious like change to B&W?

One thing I noticed was that a large thumbnail would show the edits, but when I opened the file to look, it didn't. I finally realized that it was my image program: irfanview32, that *all of a sudden* didn't like reading whatever edits were attached to the file, which makes absolutely no sense. Once I save it as a JPEG or a Tiff, the file layers should be flattened and there's shouldn't be a raw anything for irfanview to read. So I'm looking for a image program that will open all file types including my .arw files. Have any suggestions?
