Lightroom for mobile: Can't export photos from phone to computer anymore

So, I am very fond of the Lightroom CC app and am (had been) enjoying uploading RAW photos from my phone to my laptop.

To be well noted is the fact that I don't actually own Lightroom on my laptop. I'm still rolling with CS6 & ACR.

So, to upload the photos onto my laptop I have been opening iTunes, connecting my Iphone via USB cable, go to 'File Sharing,' click on '0000000000000000000000000' (etc.) and then I save it to my laptop. Usually works super easy without issue and everyone ends their day with a smile on their face...

UNTIL NOW!!!

Now, I try to do the above and after a minute or so of "uploading" the photos, I am greeted angrily by the message:

"000000000000000000000000000000000" could not be copied because an error occurred. An unknown error occurred (-1426)."

And that's the end of it. No photos uploaded, and at the moment I can't upload photos onto my laptop. Can't see a way to fix the issue. Would absolutely love any tips anyone might have.

If worst came to worst I think I could convert all the photos from Lightroom CC into JPEG images and move them into my Photos library on the phone, and upload from there. Problem with this is this would take a ridiculously long time and I lose the joy of RAW files.

End of the day, I'd love to just go back to how easy and simple it was before if possible. Anyone have any tips... please?

That's not a supported way of accessing files, so I'm afraid the official answer will be "sync the photos to the cloud via a LR subscription if you want to get the raw files back to your desktop".

Not every app allows access to transfer files via iTunes File Sharing, but Lightroom does, so I'm assuming it was by design. Why would they create this as a feature and then not support it?

I had this problem too and looks like I've solved it. I think it is caused by a corrupt DNG file in your Lightroom library. Here's what I did:
- First, I exported all the images from Lightroom on my phone using the "Export as" function. Select a group of files (I went month by month), then click Share, then Export as... Select Original from the File Type drop-down and click the check mark. You'll then have options for where to export to. I selected Save to Files then put them all in a Dropbox folder (if I saved them directly to the Dropbox app, it only saved one of the selected files, not all of them - going through the Files app saved them all). It took a long time to upload them to Dropbox, because it would only do it while my phone was on/active - once it went to sleep, it stopped uploading. Once they synced in Dropbox, I was able to import the DNG files to my desktop Lightroom catalog.
- Next, (after I had all the images imported to my desktop catalog and backed up) I started gradually deleting files from the Lightroom catalog on my phone, in smaller batches. With each batch, I went to the Deleted folder and selected Permanently Delete all. Then I would sync my phone with iTunes (the file size on the folder should change in File Sharing), then I would attempt to save the folder to my desktop again via iTunes File Sharing. I left my phone plugged into my computer and iTunes open as I did this. The first several times I got the same error message but eventually I must have deleted the corrupted file, because it finally worked and I was able to save the file to my computer using File Sharing.
Hope that helps. Good luck!
