Lightroom Desktop: Can't export photos

So I just updated my Lightroom CC application and now I can't export any of my photos. I am currently on macOS Mojave Version 10.14.2 and lightroom 2.1.1. This is a very big problem for me right now. The only reason why I was editing on CC instead of Classic CC was due to files that I had there and not on classic.

Nothing happens. I don't get any progress bar or anything. I just hit save and then it returns to the previous screen with no differences. No files are exported either. Lightroom has been buggy.

Ok, for one of the selected photos, go to the Info panel. Down the bottom, what does it say about the status of the local cache? Original? Smart preview?

Apparently I have classic. My problem is I could not export my photos but after quitting and reopening Lightroom several times, I was finally able to export. Thanks much for responding to my question.

Aleksandra, what happens when you try? And if you go to Help menu > System Info, what’s the version number?

Thanks for coming back to my issue.
I get an window with the file name I want to export to my harddisc.
See attached screencopy.

System Info shows: Lightroom-Version: 2.4 [ 20190802-0905-45e6444 ] (Aug  2 2019)
I still can export on my Android and iPad. Maybe a Windows10 (Home, Version 1809) issue?

Looking forward to further coments.

Google's translation isn't very helpful, but I'm guessing that translation is essentially "couldn't write to that folder". In other words, it's a folder permissions issue, or the drive is read only. Try saving to another location like the desktop.

HELP! Im trying to export my photos, but shows "Could not write the file. (1)" (Não foi possivel gravar o arquivo.  (1)). I tried to change the folder, but still not exporting.

Check your read/write permissions for your chosen export folder.

João, are you also on Windows 10?

I checked the permissions: all OK - I tried any folder or desktop in the PC same as on the NAS: Lightroom does not want to export the file.
I tried to export a different foto, also more than 1 foto at the time. Not possible. Also not by changing the export conditions, resolution or to export the original RAW file: impossible.
When I want to select a different folder: it does not allow to select a different, it also wants to save in txt format.
This is not nice!
I need a solution! Right now, I have to find the foto I want to export on my iPad and export it there, then send the exported file to my PC. That takes time!!

Sometimes weird behavior is corrected/cured by resetting the preferences. 

Reset Procedure:1. Close Lightroom.
2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom. 
3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
4. Close Lightroom.
5. Restart Lightroom.Does the behavior continue after resetting the preferences?

Thankls for taking care - unfortunatelly it does NOT solve the issue - same as before, instead of saving a jpg-file to the selected directory, it shows a white window with the error message (as posted above).
Someone has a solution? I will have to stop using Adobe Lightroom if the problem persists and buy a different software!

I use a NAS over cabled network and ... surprise: if I select a folder on the NAS as target for saving the fotos - IT WORKS.
Still, saving a foto as jpg to my PC, the same I run Lightroom: does NOT work!

THANKS it worked ,,,,,,,,,,,,,why is lightroom so finicky and unstable???
and the free programs always work...Its a deal breaker especially when adobe wants to charge phone support  to fix their software

For those on this thread who are still having the issue, we'd like to collect special logs from you.  This will involve the installation of a special file to enable this type of logging and then the return of files to Adobe.

I never got any real support on this issue from Adobe. Since I could not save/export any Fotos any more to the built-in harddisk, I saved Fotos to my Dropbox and from there copied them where I need them. It also works with Microsoft OneDrive.
2 weeks ago I bought a new PC and installed Lightroom on that new PC: no issues with saving/exporting.
Adobe does not care about it's customers, so I will take my decissions when 1 year of paying religiously for a licence is over.

You've got to be kidding me!? I am so over this. I had an adobe remote tech on my computer a couple of weeks back, and he uninstalled all of my security software saying it was the problem, then uninstalled a bunch of other things when that didn't work. He went in and said he was manually changing settings and permissions; that didn't work. He had me on the phone for 2 hours and 45 minutes, told me to let windows update my computer and that he would call me back. I updated my computer, it crashed, and I never heard from him again. I am now back on my system, and there are all kinds of issues with it, and I still can't export fotos from Lightroom CC. I too pay a monthly fee annually and need this for my photography business. I believe you may be correct in your final statement!!!

Dear Debra - I could solve it with a new, expensive PC, also Win10, a lucky draw prize? Here we run 3 PC's and on one (Dell XPS15-9560) I have this issue. I guess it's a Win10-Problem.
About support: nothing to add.
