Can't cmd+tab to finder with files open in Photoshop CC 2018

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Open a Finder window.
  2. Open Photoshop.
  3. Create a blank file.
  4. Try to cmd+tab to Finder.
Finder blinks on the screen quickly but goes back to Photoshop. This behavior is sporadic and doesn't always happen but does happen often enough to prompt me filing this bug.

This only started happening after upgrading to the Photoshop CC 2018 release on macOS High Sierra.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the report and the clear steps.

I tested this on Mac 10.13.1 and Cmd + tab returned me to the Finder every time, so I wasn't able to reproduce what you are seeing.

What OS are you running? Are you still seeing this behavior? If you are, could you make a screen capture and send it to me?

Hi Nick

Perhaps you have a conflicting command-key setting, or an extension that is getting in the way? (I'm not having any problems with the command-shift, but I use a 2° program that replaces this behavior).

One way to start testing might be to create a new user in the User and Groups System Preferences and see if cmd-shift works that user. Another would be to do a safe boot and see if that fixes it. If it does, you'll need to start sleuthing. (The number of ways to introduce command-key options on Macintosh is insane, and there is no one in charge of that particular candy store.)

I am pretty sure that this is a problem peculiar to your setup.
