If I select File/Export... nothing happens
But, if I choose File/Export with Preset and a preset, the export works correctly.
I can't access the Export dialogue.
This issue started with the latest release, and was not fixed by follow-up patch.

I have deleted the “Lightroom 6 Startup Preferences.agprefs” in the User library and also deleted the .plist in the Mac Library. I then restarted the Mac. After that I have started LR holding down the Shift and Opt keys (Mac) and have chosen "Reset Lightroom Preferences".

Hello,
I am a Mac OS X user. After the update to El Capitan and after the update of Lightroom CC to 2.1, export feature is not working and I am going crazy with it.
I am performing the same action ever: I select the image and right click on the pic, select Export... and nothing happens. More I face also the same problem if I go in the Library tab and I try to Setup Publishing Service.
Can somebody help me?

The path is: /Users/[your user name]/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Lightroom6.plist
You may need to use Method two in this document to access hidden user library files in OS X 10.7 or later: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/gl...

If it helps, I'm on a Mac Pro (Late 2013) with duel monitors. I run LR in the single monitor mode.
Just tried again with the second monitor window active, still no result.

But since upgrading, no export is possible. No export window, nothing happened!
Only using " wie vorher exportieren" works.
But i Don't want export like before. No Tagged pictures!
So, i go back to LS 6.1 :-(

But here comes the strange part: "File", "Export with Preset" still shows all of my user presets!
Obviously the user presets are not in com.adobe.Lightroom6.plist, and they are not in the catalog. Consequently, a new catalog and new presets will not fix the problem.
-> So where are the user presets stowed away? Whatever file / location this is, this needs to be deleted and recreated.
A fresh installation of Lightroom on a pristine virtual machine does not show the problem, so it must have to do something with the user presets.
One more thing that is disturbing: After I renamed the preferences and rebooted, Lightroom still knows which Catalog to open. Also, when I check the newly created .plist file, it contains e.g. a list of all my Cataloges, even very old ones. So the file is not entirely fresh, it must have imported some settings from somewhere.
I have no version 5 files lying around, by the way.

So the catalog is small, and the file as well.
Right now I can't zip it up, because my Mac is busy.
Once I can: Where should I attach the file?

I had previously tried resetting and removing preferences, but this did not help.
Before re-installing I had the following issues:
* Export menu would not work.
* Various other shortcut keys would not work (e.g. "g" grid view, "f" full-screen etc).
The Export bug was the most problematic because the shortcut key bug could be worked around by using the menu items.
