Bridge: Canon 6D raw images won't download using Bridge

I have just purchased the Canon 6D and am testing CS6 while waiting for my local supplier to get stock of the upgrade from CS5. I'm running Bridge 5.0.2.4 x64 and it doesn't recognize the RAW files and hence I can't download them using Bridge.

Did you install the ACR updates?

Hi Chris - and thank you for your response. As far as I know I have downloaded and installed all the updates. My version of ACR is 7.4.

Anyone else have this issue? I am able to download the RAW images using Canon's EOS Utility and then edit them using ACR 7.4. But I cannot download the RAW images with Bridge 6's "Get photos from camera" facility. Which means I can't automatically apply metadata templates to downloaded images - it's really frustrating and time-consuming. Help please!

There was no response to this query, but somehow I got the procedure to work - eventually. Now, after a hard drive crash and re-install, I'm having the same problem! Anyone have a fix?

Hi Jeffrey - I have replied on my other post (this one is so old that I thought I had better start a new post), but thanks for your response - I did all the updates before posting my query.
