Canon camera standard and autotone.

I have a Canon 5D Mark IV, so I use the "camera standard" profile. I would like to use the Auto Tone feature but I find that it always drops the exposure and contrast levels below zero, way too much. It looks pretty close if I zero these two out. Auto Tone works better when it uses the Adobe Color profile.

Is there a way to customize the auto tone?

No, you can't modify how Auto Tone works. But if you find that it works better with Adobe Color profile, why not use that? You say "I have a Canon 5D Mark IV, so I use the "camera standard" profile", but there is no law that says that you must use that profile... Or don't you like the colors of Adobe Color?

I too reset the contrast slider on 99% of my images. It goes below zero on any profile for me.
