Lightroom: Can't see application menus in order to quit the application

I have no way to close the Lightroom program except launch task manager.

Do you mean that when you try to close LR, nothing happens? In which case some details of OS, LR version, etc. may help.

Or do you mean that the normal controls at the top-right corner are not showing? In which case you are likely in full-screen mode, and you simply need to press the 'F' key once or twice to restore the 'normal' view.

If this is simply a problem seeing the menu items (as discussed in this thread) the standard window controls like control/splat-Q work as advertised, as well.

Pressing the "F" key took care of it. I couldn't see the controls in the upper right corner as mentioned. Learn something new every day. Thanks.

Remark: In fullscreen mode, you can reach the application menu (but not the minimize/maximize/close controls) by moving the mouse cursor all the way up. The standard windows key combination Alt + F4 will also close LR.
