Using OSX 10.6.2 and Photshop CS6. It's not possible when I select thumbnail view to open a group of files. Normally using the shift key allows selecting a range of files.

When will this be fixed?

Are you selecting these in the Finder, or in the open dialog (both of which allow multiple selection) ?

And which OS version are you using? You mention 10.6.2 and 10.8.2.

I'm running 10.8.2, sorry about the typo.

I'm using the open dialog in Photoshop CS6.

File -> Open

Note you have to select the thumbnail view (four little square boxes) to see this bug.

The open dialog is an OS dialog, run almost entirely by the OS.
And Photoshop tells the OS that it can accept multiple files.

On my systems, shift clicking multiple files works just fine.

I just noticed that I can do a Shift-RightArrow to select multiple files.

Still it would be good if the Phototshop team would fix this bug so we can use the shift key to select a range of files.
