Photoshop Elements: Cannot Center a Print in PSE 9

I have found it impossible to print a photo out of PSE 9 in the exact center of a page or with even borders on each side. There is no direct control over where a photo is printed on a page. I end up having to trim nearly every print with a border to a non-standard size that makes framing difficult. The only suggested solution I have seen in the forums is to create a second document with a page the size of the paper, and place the photo where I want it. I have reason to believe, however, that there would still be a discrepancy between the preview image and the printed image. I am using the same HP C7280 that I used with PSE 4. I did not have this problem with PSE 4. This is a serious problem that has caused me to waste time and paper and ink, which is real money. How could such a basic control or function be missing from the program? If PSE is supposed to automatically center a print, it's failing. I've seen other complaints about this in all recent versions after 5. PLEASE fix this by providing direct control over placement of the image on the page.

As long as your Print Size is set to be something smaller than your Paper Size, PSE9 supports exactly what your asking for. There is a Center Image checkbox down in the Position section. Checking it will center the image.
Also, you can grab that blue line around your image and drag the image anywhere on the page.
