When I import photos and place them in a collection, there comes a point where the names of the collections are off the bottom edge of the 'Collections' navigator. When that happens, the little arrow at the bottom, directly between the 'Import...' and 'Export...' buttons is greyed out. I cannot see any of my collections past the letter 'L'.

How many collections have you got? More than about 1600? Group them inside Collection Sets.

Hi,
I have about twenty-five. I have placed the travel-related collections into a collection set called 'travel'. But when I expand it, I still can't see the bottom collections.

You don't scroll with the little arrow between Import and Export -- that just indicates there is more stuff below in the left-hand column. Use the scroll bar to the left of the entire column:

LOL ... oh, dear. Do I feel silly.

Thank you, John! I owe you a beer. :-)

No need to feel silly. LR uses non-standard user-interface widgets and tries to keep them spare (presumably to save space). After 5 years, I still occasionally stumble around too.
